Travel Information
The boat ‘Georgy Zhukov’ departs from terminal 5 of the Nizhny Novgorod River Port at 09:00 of July 20.
Accommodation on board will be available starting from 06:00 of July 20.

Special bus service will be available to transfer NWP participants to the boat. The participants from outside Russia arriving by the night flight from Moscow (23:05) and by Lufthansa (23:00) on July 19 will be transferred directly to the boat and accommodated there.

Participants arriving by the morning trains from Moscow (train No.22 arriving at 07.19 and train No.24 arriving at 06.24) on July 20 will be met in the central hall of the Railway station and transferred to the boat.

Travel instructions for those who will travel independently:

The Railway station is located not far from the River station (‘Rechnoi Vokzal’). You may easily reach the River station by public transport. The bus stop is situated just across the street when you go from the Railway station. You need to take a bus (numbers 4, 20, 38, 61) or a route taxi (numbers 2, 34) as far as the stop ‘Rechnoi Vokzal’. It takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the River station. In 2 minutes’ walk there is a terminal tram station; you may take tram No.1 to reach the stop ‘Rechnoi Vokzal’.

How to get to Nizhny Novgorod

The easiest way for people from Europe to travel to Nizhny Novgorod
and back is a direct Lufthansa flight between Frankfurt and Nizhny
Novgorod. Lufthansa flights to Nizhny Novgorod are available on Mondays,
Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, arrival time is 23:00.
Flights to Frankfurt departure at 04:40 on Tuesdays, Thursdays,
Saturdays and Sundays. Flight duration is about 3.45.

Another option is to come to Nizhny Novgorod through Moscow.
Flights from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod are available daily.
Besides, there are several daily trains from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod.
