The Symposium will be held on board a comfortable boat "Georgy Zhukov" cruising up and down the Volga river. The cruise route includes some old Russian towns belonging to the Golden Ring of Russia such as Yaroslavl, Kostroma, and Uglich. Also on the route are Nizhny Novgorod, 1000-year-old Kazan, the picturesque town of Ples, the favourite place of Russian painters, the famous Makariev Monastery, and other fascinating sites. Thus, the conference participants will have a unique opportunity to get familiar with the Russian history and nature.
A social program for participants and accompanying persons will include sightseeing and tours on the cruise route, music concerts aboard, and symposium dinner. A special lady's program is intended to fill up the time of accompanying persons during scientific sessions.
