The Symposium will be held on board a comfortable boat "Georgy Zhukov" cruising
from St.Petersburg to Nizhny Novgorod. The boat will depart
from St.-Petersburg at 8 pm on August 2, 2005 and will arrive
in Nizhny Novgorod at 15.00 am on August 9, 2005. The cruise
route includes the Volga river, the fascinating lakes of the
Russian North (the White Lake, Onega, and Ladoga), unique ensembles
of Kizhi and Valaam, as well as some old Russian towns. This
route will give a unique opportunity for the participants to
get familiar with both, the Russian history and nature.

A social program for participants and accompanying persons will include sightseeing
and tours on the cruise route, music concerts aboard, and symposium dinner.
